Juicebox AI review and alternatives for recruiters
By Drippay, Inc.Published 9 min read
Juicebox is an AI recruiting platform that searches a large pool of candidate profiles in plain language and runs outreach to the people it finds. It used to be known as PeopleGPT, and many recruiters still search for it as “juicebox ai”. It sits on the candidate side of the desk: it helps a recruiter find people for a role that already exists.
This page covers what Juicebox says it does, what it publishes about price, when it is the right choice, and what to use for other jobs. Vendor facts are from each vendor’s own pages, checked October 6, 2026, and the figures are their claims. We have not run a head-to-head trial, so this is not a hands-on test result. Disclosure: we build dreach. dreach is not a candidate sourcing tool, and it does not replace Juicebox. It helps staffing and recruiting firms win the job orders that Juicebox then helps fill.

the short version
- Keep Juicebox if your constraint is finding qualified candidates faster for roles you already hold, and you want search, ranking, and outreach in one tool.
- Choose Pin or hireEZ if you want a similar candidate sourcing layer and would rather compare a second vendor on the same reqs before you buy.
- Choose an ATS with sourcing built in if you would rather consolidate than add another tool. Loxo, Bullhorn, and Recruiterflow each describe sourcing inside their system.
- Consider dreach if you have candidates and recruiters but too few job orders, and you want to know when a past client or a similar employer starts hiring, with the hiring manager and the warmest way in.
What Juicebox does, from its own site
Juicebox calls itself an AI recruiting platform. Its home page describes three steps: an intake step to align with the hiring manager, a natural-language search over what it says are 800M global profiles and 30+ data sources that returns a ranked candidate pool, and outreach sequences that can include social and call steps. The home page also lists 500+ staffing agencies among its customers. Those are Juicebox’s own figures and we have not verified them.
It also sells agents. An agent keeps sourcing in the background for a role, learns from reviewed candidates, and can reach out and follow up. The pricing page says agents can be set to auto-email or auto-shortlist. Integrations listed on the home page include Bullhorn, Crelate, Recruiterflow, Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, and Workday, with 40+ more.
Juicebox pricing, as published
Juicebox publishes four plans. The page has a monthly and yearly toggle, with 15% off for yearly. Confirm which billing period the headline figures show before you budget.

Is Juicebox good? What a review should test
We have not tested Juicebox on live reqs, so we will not give it a score. Customer stories on its own site are marketing, and a few forum threads are not a sample. The useful review is your own, and it is short: give Juicebox and one other tool the same three live reqs for two weeks.
- Count qualified profiles surfaced per req, not profiles returned.
- Check whether the emails and phones you reveal are current in your niche, and how many credits that used.
- See what writes back to your ATS, and under whose name outreach is sent.
- Ask for a ranking explanation on one strong result and one obvious miss.
- Note how many hours of recruiter time the search and the outreach actually took.

When Juicebox is the better choice
A recruiter who needs people for open roles has a candidate problem, and Juicebox is built for it. dreach is not.
- You hold the job orders and the bottleneck is finding and contacting enough qualified candidates.
- You run a Bullhorn, Crelate, or Recruiterflow desk and want a sourcing layer beside it.
- You want agents that keep sourcing in the background while recruiters work other roles.
- You are happy to budget per seat and per credit, with the plan limits above.
Alternatives by job
The word “alternative” hides three different jobs. Pick the job first.
| Job | Options | Note |
|---|---|---|
| Find candidates for a role you hold | Pin, hireEZ, SourceWhale, or sourcing inside Loxo, Bullhorn, or Recruiterflow | Same side of the desk as Juicebox. Compare on the same live reqs. |
| Find contact details for people at employers | Apollo, Lusha, RocketReach, Cognism, ZoomInfo | These are contact databases. They list people, not who is hiring. |
| Win the job order from an employer | Your own business development, split networks, or dreach | Client side. dreach flags past clients hiring again and employers like them. |

Where dreach fits, and where it does not
dreach is a managed service for staffing and recruiting firms. It finds employers about to hire, including past clients hiring again. Each lead names the hiring manager, confirmed in the job, with a current email and phone, and the warmest way in: a current or past client, a person your firm placed, or a contact your team authorizes.
Outreach runs from your firm’s own LinkedIn and email accounts. Your team works each lead and keeps the client. Pricing is a monthly minimum credited against a fee on results, agreed before launch.
dreach is not a candidate sourcing tool. It does not search profiles of people to place, rank candidates, or run candidate outreach. It is also not a generic contact database. If your gap is candidates, stay with Juicebox or a peer. If your gap is job orders, they are two tools for two jobs and can run side by side.

How to choose
Ask where the desk is stuck. If you have orders and not enough candidates, buy sourcing and trial two tools on live reqs. If you have candidates and not enough orders, sourcing will not help, and the time is better spent on timing: reaching the hiring manager in the week a role opens. Many firms have both gaps at different times, and that is fine. Fix the one that is costing placements now.
Juicebox is a credible candidate sourcing tool with published plans, and it fits a desk that holds orders and needs people. It does not find job orders. If candidates are covered and orders are the gap, dreach is built for the client side and runs from your own accounts.
